Stop Ignoring Gum Disease Symptoms
Early Treatment of Gingivitis and Periodontitis, an Advanced Stage of Gum Disease is Essential

The LANAP® Protocol

Minimally Invasive
Historically gum disease has been treated with scalpels, cutting away the diseased tissue and suturing the remaining tissue back together. As opposed to using a scalpel, LANAP® uses Light Energy to selectively remove the diseased tissue while leaving the healthy tissue unharmed and unaffected. This new protocol, is more conservative in nature and results in less pain and faster healing.

Eliminated Harmful Bacteria
Your mouth is home to millions of different types of bacteria. Some bad. Some good. When examining the harmful bacteria under a microscope we have found that it has a much darker color. The light used in the LANAP® protocol seeks out this dark color and eliminates it without cutting at all!

Long-Term Solution
Many treatment options available for gum disease can be compared to putting a band aide on a wound. They can cover it up, or slow it down, or mask the symptom. But eventually it comes back. LANAP® takes into consideration ALL of the critical factors that contribute to gum disease and it is a protocol that delivers predictable long-term results.

Alternative To Traditional Surgery
Before implementing this groundbreaking procedure, surgery would normally be required to remove gum disease. Incisions, sutures, removal of gum tissue and possibly gum grafting were necessary, causing longer recovery times.

Saving "Hopeless" Teeth
This is the first FDA-cleared procedure for true tissue and bone regeneration. Now you can save your bone, and your teeth by naturally regenerating new bone and tissue that supports your teeth. LANAP® is the only protocol FDA approved for bone regeneration.

What To Expect
You can expect to have a complete in-office experience. Because the lasers in the LANAP® device have been specially programmed, they will not affect your healthy gum tissue. This enables the healthy tissues to regenerate and heal immediately after LANAP® treatment has concluded.
Did You Know?
Over half of the U.S. population suffers from moderate to severe periodontal disease (gum disease) yet less than 3% actually receive treatment! Many are worried about the pain or discomfort associated with traditional treatments but left untreated, gum disease can cause tooth and bone loss. The LANAP protocol can quickly eliminate disease-causing bacteria, improving the health of your smile.
